We can no longer kick the can down the road and leave our children and grandchildren in debt
The Gross National Debt
Washington is broken
Career Politicians created this mess
It's time to Elect an Average Joe to fix it
Why I’m Running
I want to make a difference for my children. I want them to be able to experience everything this country has to offer, but unfortunately for too long our country has been going in the wrong direction. The debt we are leaving to our children is unsustainable. They are the ones who will have to pay it back.
For too long, politicians have only cared about themselves and their donors who contribute millions each year to gain favors and influence. They seem to only care about average Americans around election day.
As a 28 year employee at IBM, my philosophy was simple:
“Think" and always take care of the customer.
As a member of Congress, I will always Think: What is best for the American people? What is the best use of tax dollars? Are we following the constitution? Is this the right thing to do?
I will always remember who my customer is. It's you, the average American, not large corporations, not special interests, not political parties, not lobbyists. I will answer to the people of the 17th Congressional District and my fellow average Americans.
Most Americans wake up in the morning and try to do what is right for their family, their career, and the people they care about.
Because in America if you work hard and play by the rules, you expect that you and your family will have an opportunity to succeed.
But today, too many Americans are working hard and getting less. That’s because politicians in Washington aren’t looking out for the average American. Many of our elected officials are all about power and getting re-elected. Many have been in office for WAY TOO LONG.
I am running for Congress to fight for average American families. I will represent people that live in the first and second highest taxed counties in the nation.
My core values are Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance and Dependability.
I will utilize Common Sense, Critical Thinking, Innovation and my problem solving abilities to help reform our country for us average Americans of New York's 17th District and the Nation.
The 17th Congressional District is comprised of the First and Second highest taxed counties in the NATION
Your taxes are too high. You should be able to keep more of what you earn.
The new Tappan Zee Bridge will cost 4 billion dollars. It's running over budget. How it's being paid for is still up for debate.
The first funds for construction came from a $1.6 billion federal TIFIA loan.
Our current representative was just able to get us a loan.
The gap between taxes paid and spending received in New York is currently at $40.9 billion.
With that large of a gap, the bridge should have been paid for with federal dollars, instead we will have to pay for it every time we drive over it.
Tolls are expected to be over $15
